What was done
AWS didn't have a proper SEO program built out to measure and grow their organic traffic to their website. We helped develop Amazon's SEO program by establishing key performance metrics and goals and worked closely with the product marketing and web teams to develop new content and enhance the sites SEO. This included developing brand new cloud computing category pages and new pages such as the "What Is Cloud Computing" page.
This effort resulted in increasing AWS's search rank on highly valuable search terms such as "cloud computing" and "what is cloud computing" worth millions annually in qualified traffic being driven to the website.
Additionally we managed AWS's paid search strategy across 25 international countries working with the international and finance teams to measure ROAS and determine budget allocation.
